Many of you will have seen the new footbridge has been installed at Walton Station. It is great news that this milestone has been reached, and we are now entering the next stage of the project – manufacture and installation of the lifts.

This Conservative government has awarded Surrey County Council £3,923,922 to support local bus services, ensuring passengers can continue to use the bus to get to work, shops and important appointments.

It was great to hear from local businesses at Elmbridge BNI meeting. Some interesting topics were raised from net zero, interest rates, high streets and even golf handicaps.
Elmbridge Borough Council is set to receive £85,252 from the government for home adaptations such as wheelchair ramps, handrails, stairlifts or specialist equipment to help older people and those with disabilities to live safely and independently in their own homes.
