To mark UK Parliament Week, I enjoyed dropping into four schools across our area – Bell Farm in Hersham, Chandlers Field in Molesey, Cobham Free School and Claremont Fan Court School in Esher.
On behalf of Esher and Walton constituency, it was an honour to pay tribute to the service and sacrifice of our Armed Forces – especially those from our local community – at the Constituency Garden of Remembrance in Parliament.
China put export restrictions on graphite – a key electric vehicle battery component. As we strive to move toward cleaner sources of energy, there is no escaping the growing rate of reliance on critical minerals.
It was great to catch up with Samantha Moore recently to hear how our campaign to improve playgrounds in Molesey is going and see the new and improved big slide in Grovelands Rec.
Walton Town Centre and St John’s Estate in Walton are set to receive £330,000 from this Conservative Government’s Safer Streets funding – a grant for projects to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour and make areas safer for women and girls.
Today, the Transport Secretary has asked train operators to withdraw their proposals to close rail ticket offices because they failed to meet high passenger standards.
My latest pop-up surgery took me to Tesco on Molesey High Street. Thank you to all the residents who took the time to chat about issues ranging from illegal moorings along the Thames riverbank, to parking on residential streets.
