To mark UK Parliament Week, I enjoyed dropping into four schools across our area – Bell Farm in Hersham, Chandlers Field in Molesey, Cobham Free School and Claremont Fan Court School in Esher.

On behalf of Esher and Walton constituency, it was an honour to pay tribute to the service and sacrifice of our Armed Forces – especially those from our local community – at the Constituency Garden of Remembrance in Parliament.

Walton Town Centre and St John’s Estate in Walton are set to receive £330,000 from this Conservative Government’s Safer Streets funding – a grant for projects to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour and make areas safer for women and girls.

This week, I was on Bridge Road and Walton Road speaking with small businesses to hear what more I can do to support them.

It was great to hear that footfall remains buoyant throughout the year and retailers are preparing for a busy Christmas period.

Pop-Up Surgery in Tesco, East Molesey
