Last week, I was down in Oxshott visiting The Royal Kent School. I had a good chat with the school’s Year 6 class – a very bright and sparky group – about the environment, climate change and sustainability.
The pupils had recently studied environmental issues. It was encouraging to see how interested and engaged they were with this important subject. We discussed the outcomes of COP26, as well as all the other measures that the government is taking to tackle climate change and improve our environment.
My thanks to the pupils, as well as Year 6 teacher Miss Webber and Headteacher Miss Hancock for hosting me.
