I enjoyed meeting pupils from Walton Oak School’s Pupil Parliament in Westminster last week for a Q&A following their Parliamentary tour.
The Walton Oak Pupil Parliament regularly discuss topics, issues and initiatives that affect them. As part of their responsibilities, the pupils organise their own meetings, decide on an agenda, share new ideas and vote on a number of school-related issues.
It was great to see how engaged the students were with politics and the world around them. They asked lots of thoughtful questions about what it is like to present Esher and Walton and how Parliament works.
Thank you to all the pupils and teachers for coming up!
