Our Plan for Esher and Walton constituency includes securing safer roads around our local schools. This is why I have been working with parents, residents and teachers at Walton Oak Primary School to help secure a safe and permanent crossing on Ambleside Avenue.
Having pushed the importance of improving road safety on Ambleside Avenue with Surrey County Council, I am pleased a consultation to hear local residents’ views on proposals to install a zebra crossing outside the school has now been launched.
