Thank you to Sports Minister, Nigel Huddleston, for coming to visit Tiffin School playing fields near Hampton Court with me last week.
Tiffin is a great example of how schools can not only put on an excellent programme of sport for their students, but also open up their facilities to support the local community in getting us all more involved in sport.
Currently, Tiffin has had £25,000 worth of funding and we are trying to back that up with various different bids and applications, including the Your Fund Surrey, which I am helping to support.
Thank you to all the Tiffin Governors, groundsmen, and staff, who showed us around and talked us through their plans to facilitate access to more local sports groups.
