‘My Plan’ for Esher and Walton constituency includes improving local transport and supporting hard-working families with the cost of living. Therefore, I am delighted that from 1st January 2023 to 31st March 2023, this Conservative government has announced a £2 fare cap on single bus tickets in England.
For Esher and Walton constituency, this means Falcon Buses will be charging £2 for single fares. In our area, this includes:
- 400 – Walton-on-Thames
- 408 – Cobham
- 461 – Molesey and Walton-on-Thames
- 514 – Thames Ditton, Molesey and Hersham
- 515 – Thames Ditton, Esher and Hersham
- 564 – Walton-on-Thames and Hersham
This will help hard-working families travel for less this winter, and hopefully lessen the need to use cars for some journeys.
