I understand there has been disruption on the morning trains serving Walton, Hersham and Esher stations this week.
Disruption has ranged from cancellations to short formation of trains resulting in severe overcrowding.
I have raised these issues with South Western Railway asking for an explanation for the ongoing disruption and to press for the normal resumption of rail services for commuters as soon as possible. I will provide updates as and when I receive them from South Western Railway.
