A few months ago, I met up with Surrey’s new Police and Crime Commissioner, Lisa Townsend, to feed local concerns into her developing Police and Crime Plan for the county.
It’s good to hear that, after a lot of work over the summer, Lisa is now looking for input into this plan from residents across Surrey. You can feed in your views until 25 October, via a short survey available here.
The Police and Crime Plan will shape policing in Surrey throughout Lisa’s term in office –setting the key priorities and areas of policing which Surrey Police need to focus on. It also provides the basis by which Lisa will hold the Chief Constable to account, so I encourage residents to fill out the survey.
