It was great to take Lucy Frazer, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, to Cecil Hepworth Playhouse in Walton to meet with trustee, Janet Turner.
The Government has just backed the Cecil Hepworth Playhouse with £50,000 of funding through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund to help keep this valuable local asset open for community use.
Through Janet and the trustee’s management, they are hoping to make Cecil Hepworth into a hub for volunteers and community groups to get involved at the playhouse like never before.
