I recently stopped by Cecil Hepworth Playhouse to catch-up with Trustee, Janet Turner, following an award of £50,000 of Government funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
It is fantastic to see our local campaign, with Government funding and a fabulous community effort, has successfully worked to protect our local heritage.
Under their management, the Trustees are hoping to make the Cecil Hepworth Playhouse - Theatre for the Community into a hub for volunteers and community groups to get involved with the Playhouse like never before.
