Since 2010, 4,830 new apprenticeships have been created in Esher and Walton constituency by successive Conservative Governments, as part of our drive to improve skills and productivity in our economy.
As well as driving up the number of people boosting their skills through apprenticeships, the Conservative Government’s reforms are also improving the quality of apprenticeships. £2.3 billion of additional funding has been announced for 2023 – 2024 and 2023 – 2025 – with colleges that deliver skills and training getting the most focused support.
This National Apprenticeship Week, I want to celebrate all the brilliant apprentices in Esher and Walton constituency. This is why I have launched my Esher and Walton Apprentice of the Year Competition for the second year running.
