Supporting hard-working local families with the cost of living

To support hard-working local families with the cost of living, I secured a £150 council tax rebate, a 5p cut in fuel duty, a £650 cost of living payment for those on low incomes, and a £300 cost of living payment for vulnerable pensioners.

Under my plan, the average worker will received a National Insurance tax cut of £330 per year in July, every home a cash grant of £400 for energy bills from October, and every worker will have their rate of income tax cut to 19p in 2023.
